What should I tell my care team before I take this medication?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-Any chronic disease of the intestine, stomach, or throat
-Bloating or stomach pain
-Dehydration
-Difficulty swallowing
-Heart disease
-Kidney disease
-Low levels of sodium in the blood
-Seizures
-An unusual or allergic reaction to polyethylene glycol, other medications, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breast-feeding
What may interact with this medication?
Do not take any other medication by mouth starting 1 hour before you take this medication. Talk to your care team about when to take your other medications.
This medication may interact with the following:
-Certain medications for blood pressure, heart disease, irregular heart beat
-Certain medications for kidney disease
-Certain medications for seizures, such as carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin
-Diuretics
-Laxatives
-NSAIDS, medications for pain and inflammation, such as ibuprofen or naproxen
