How should I use this medication?

If you do not have a sharps container, call your pharmacist or care team to get one. Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.

What if I miss a dose?
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
Where should I keep my medication?
Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Store in a refrigerator or at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Refrigeration (preferred): Store in the refrigerator. Do not freeze. Keep in the original container until you are ready to take it. Remove the dose from the carton about 30 minutes before it is time for you to use it. If the dose is not used, it may be stored in the original container at room temperature for 7 days. Get rid of any unused medication after the expiration date. Room Temperature: This medication may be stored at room temperature for up to 7 days. Keep it in the original container. Protect from light until time of use. If it is stored at room temperature, get rid of any unused medication after 7 days or after it expires, whichever is first. To get rid of medications that are no longer needed or have expired: -Take the medication to a medication take-back program. Check with your pharmacy or law enforcement to find a location. -If you cannot return the medication, ask your pharmacist or care team how to get rid of this medication safely.
