They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-Bowel blockage
-An unusual or allergic reaction to tenapanor, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breastfeeding

What are the most serious risks of this medication?
NEVER give this medication to children younger than 6 years of age. It may cause serious dehydration and harm. Older children may also be at risk.
