What should I tell my care team before I take this medication?
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-Kidney disease
-An unusual or allergic reaction to sucralfate, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breast-feeding
What may interact with this medication?
-Antacid
-Cimetidine
-Certain antibiotics, such as ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, and ofloxacin
-Digoxin
-Ketoconazole
-Phenytoin
-Quinidine
-Ranitidine
-Theophylline
-Thyroid hormones
-Warfarin

What should I watch for while using this medication?
Visit your care team for regular check-ups. Let your doctor know if your symptoms do not improve or if you feel worse.
Antacids should not be taken within one half hour before or after this medication.
